Kuchen is the German word for “cake.” While this recipe is probably not traditional “Kuchen,” it is certainly delightfully yummy – especially during the holidays!

On large cookie sheet, spread 2 cans of crescent rolls to fill, turning up the edges. Alternately add pie filling in checkerboard fashion.
Beat softened cream cheese with electric mixer until smooth. Add egg, sugar, salt, and vanilla. Beat well. Pour cream cheese mixture in checkerboard design.
Create the brown sugar mixture by combining brown sugar, sugar, flour, melted butter, salt, and vanilla. Mix until crumbly. Sprinkle with brown sugar crumbs mixture and bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
